The Catfish Bend river based, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 square feet, 535 slots, and 14 table games. An additional Iowa water based casino, The Isle of Capri, is available all day and night, with 24,939 square feet, 1,100 slots, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 square foot river boat gambling den in Clinton, has 506 slot machines, 14 table games, live shows, and Thursday 21 tournaments.
Iowa casinos offer a great amount of tax money to the commonwealth of Iowa, which has enabled the budgeting of many commonwealth wide projects. Vacationers have grown at a fast rate along with the demand for services and a growth in jobs.
